What type of fabric do you prefer for your quilting and fabric art, I asked my readers.
The choices were:
*Polyester/cotton blend
*100% cotton
*Silk, satin, brocades, metallics, etc.
*A combination of fabrics

Round Robins, sending a piece of quilting, a hanging, a fabric postcard or similar project around among chosen quilters who add something to it, have become poipular. They can be conducted with online quilters (sent on its rounds through the mail) or among fabric artists in a group who meet periodically.

As I helped youngsters in grades 3-5 create books today, I was inspired with ideas for paper and fabric books to try with my grandchildren at home. This bookmaking at the school where I was substitute teaching was inspired by a visiting artist who shared many of her works and demonstrated her techniques.
