Friday Feature - Do You Offer Quilting Specials On Particular Days?

FRIDAY FEATURE

If you have a quilting business or shop (online or walk-in), do you feature specials or an attraction one day a week…or month?  Do you look for these specials where you shop?

As I browse the mail coming to my e-mail box, I’ve noticed, over the course of time, that Fridays seems to be a day for special deals…special prices, special combinations of “stuff” (depending on what you sell and offer), exclusive offers, special incentives for doing business with you.  Generally these offers are one day only, or introduced on Friday with a limited number available.

For instance, this morning there were:

 *A notice from JoAnn.com about one-day specials on Friday during the summer. This involves a special price/deal on one item only, while supplies last. 

*An alert about the Friday Feature at the Fat Quarter Shop.    

(Incidentally, I subscribe to online newsletters or alerts from JoAnn.com and Fat Quarter Shop, so these notices aren’t spam.)

Do you have a regular day of the week or month for specials, announcements, contests, giveaways, etc. to promote your business and encourage customers to stop by, whether online or at a walk-in shop?

It doesn’t need to be Friday.  Decide when it’s convenient for you. 

*Do you want to increase traffic on a slow day? 

*Is there something else going on locally on a particular day when it would be practical to invite customers to stop at your place? 

* Do other online shops have a weekly special you could coordinate with?
