The Power of the Quilter’s Blog
You don’t need a blog if you’re a quilter or fabric artist. However, it does make life fun and puts you in touch with so many more quilters, right from your own home (or wherever you access the Internet), than you’d meet otherwise. A whole new world opens up for quilters with their blogs and by visiting other quilting blogs, too.
Jean, who left a comment on one of my posts, explained, “I just love to blog because then I get to know people like you that I probably would never have met without a blog!”
Why do quilters blog?
- Meet other quilters and fabric artists
- Learn what’s going on in the quilting world
- Learn about new techniques, tools and fabrics
- Showcase and share their own work
- Publicize their work if they sell what they make
- Let others know that they teach workshops
- Review quilting books
- Earn income in a field they enjoy
- To inspire and encourage others
Why do you have a blog? And what is it?
