You Want to Quilt But Can’t Sew
Quilting fascinates you and the idea of making a quilt seems like a neat project. But you don’t know how to sew!
Nowadays, there are online resources to help you get started with sewing…and ultimately making a quilt or piece of fabric art.
Chloe, at Tangled Thread, has published a post, Online help for learning to sew, which will do just that…get you started sewing through these resources.
(And if you want to learn to make clothing, Chloe provides a Sneak Peek at Simplicity Patterns for fall.)

I guess that I will have to just break down and learn how to… sew. I keep hoping that there will come a time when I can simply glue it together, but it hasn’t happened yet… I don’t think, so maybe I will just have to bit the bullet and learn!!

You can do appliqué and just use ultra suede. Hardly any sewing.

Thanks, Vicky and “shopper” for visiting my blog and leaving your comments and ideas. There are ways, such as Vicky suggests to do quilting and fabric art with a minimum of sewing. However, for bed quilts that get a lot of use, we probably still have to resort to sewing.
