Creating a Padfolio for a Quilter’s Skeching or Note Pad
My daughter Beth continually introduces me to new projects and the latest is making a padfolio, following Sue Bleiweiss’s tutorial. A padfolio is basically a quilted fabric folder made to hold a pad of paper for note taking, along with possibly a pen or pencil and other items.
If you like, you can use a small sketch pad instead of note pad in the padfolio. Then you’ll have it handy whenever you get ideas for your quilting and fabric art work.
Beth said she liked the idea of a padfolio because it’s a handy way to carry her sketch book or note pad in something very attractive. This also lets others know about her work.
If you decide to make a padfolio, I’d enjoy hearing about it.
This is Beth’s padfolio. Check out more pictures, showing inside and out, on her Meandering Threads blog.

Aren’t padfolios the neatest project? And Beth did a lovely job with hers. Let us know if you make one.
