Information About Round Robins for Quilters
I’ve come across a variety of Round Robins, whereby a quilt or fabric art piece, makes the round of the artists, with each adding to it. These can be conducted among quilters who meet online or those who gather in person periodically.
*Fabric books, such as my daughter mentions at Meandering Threads. Each fiber artist contributes a page to the others’ books.
*Quilts with each quilter adding a strip to make it larger.
*A hanging with each person starting it, then the others contributing as it makes the rounds.
*ATC (Artist Trading Cards) whereby each one adds a card to a collection.
*Quilt supply collection…each person contributes fabric, fiber, thread, embellishments to a collection. Each one participating will have materials to create a piece.
