Check Out the Quilting Postal Stamps
The US Postal Service issued ten postal stamps featuring quilts this year. Pictures of the stamps of Gee’s Bend quilts, made from work by African-American quilters in Alabama, are stunning. I’ve been using them, but have saved one set for my scrapbook.
If you’re fortunate to find these issued in 2001, you’ll have four stamps of Amish quilts for your collection.
