Quilting Ideas for Thanksgiving
Whether you’re making a quilt or decorative items
for Thanksgiving with a harvest theme, there are many options available to you. There are hangings, table runners and placemats, potholders, and quilts.
Items with a fall or autumn design often are incorporated into a Thanksgiving design. Also, the fall colors….orange, green, gold, bronze, wine, and brown…blend well with any Thanksgiving projects.
Why not make yourself a quilt in fall colors with leaves and harvest bounty? Or a wall hanging, like my daughter does with leaves that give a three dimensional effect.
Decorate your Thanksgiving table with placemats or table runner in autumn colors with abstract designs or with a turkey in the midst. If you have an interest in history, why not incorporate the Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving into your project?

Pleased you like these colors, Cyndi. Even though I can’t wear the warm, fall colors of pumpkin, bronze, flame, gold, pine green, etc. (the cool colors are my best), I do enjoy them for decorating and for arts and crafts.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
