Quilt Outings Revive Quilters
Quilting can be a solitary and even lonely activity since quilters often work alone in their studio or nook at home. Visiting quilt shows with other quilters, or even by oneself, gives inspiration and new energy to their work.
Today was the day my daughter, Beth, her teenages daughter and friend visited the annual quilt show in Nashua, NH (the state where we live) for a mother/daughter/Aunt Debbie day out. They’ve been doing this for several years. I’m anxious to hear all about it when I get home from a business trip.
Beth undoubtedly soon will be posting a report about this outing on her blog, Meandering Threads (http://meanderingthreads.blogspot.com ) . I’ll let you know when she has it ready.
Check in your area for quilt shows or gallery events you can visit and gain inspiration for your art.
