Quilting and Patchwork

Developing a Quilting Business Card

by Mary Emma Allen on September 25th, 2006

My daughter decided she needed a business card for her quilting and fiber arts.  So she designed one today and it’s really neat.  She got her idea from one of her fiber arts friends who uses her artistic designs on the back or front.

Beth scanned one of her small quilt hangings and then pulled it up on her print program, where she put it on the business card format along with her printed information…name and whatever else she wanted.

You can take your ideas to a printer or design them yourself.  These colorful business cards (or calling cards as ladies called them in my Grandmother’s day) are really nice additions to your profession and a way to promote your art.

You can use the same design on all your cards, or decide upon three or four different ones.  Also, you can make these into postcards to send to friends and colleagues when you need to write a note.
