Beaded Embellishment for Fabric Art
Beaded embellishment for your quilts, hangings, postcards, and other fabric art has become popular in recent years. My daughter accumulates a great variety of beads to use in her work.
Quilters also combine beads with other types of embellishments to enhance their projects. Sometimes these additions even give a three-dimensional effect.
A book my daughter found a good one for her introduction to beading on fabric was The Stori of Beaded Embellishment by Mary Stori. She’s since accumulated more books for her quilter’s library, but said Mary Stori’s gave her many good ideas to start with.
