Creating a Quilter’s Blog
More and more quilters create personal blogs to share their quilts and quilting lives. This becomes a way they can connet with quilters and fabric artists around the world. They have different talents and interests, yet they have quiltmaking in common.
Some quilters also use blogs for promoting and selling their work. Others simply place their quilting experiences and thoughts on their blogs, along with pictures of their work.
My daughter has fun with her blog, sharing her musings about her fabric art at http://meanderingthreads.blogspot.com.
I’ve been doing research into my family quilting heritage and place my findings, memories, and thoughts at http://trailsendquilters.blogspot.com. It’s a place where I can collect this information to share with my family and have available for various projects I have in mind.
At many of the blog hosting sites you’ll be “walked” through the process of setting up your blog, even to posting photos. If you have a quilting blog you’d like to share with me, simply send an e-mail with the URL.
