Quilting and Patchwork

The Beige Behemoth Quilts

by Mary Emma Allen on March 20th, 2006

A year ago, quilters from the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming began working on the Beige Behemoth Project.  This was a sampler quilt designed by Julia Owens, owner of Big Horn Quilts (www.bighornquilts.com)

The met the first Saturday of each month, picked up their block pattern and fabric, then completed a block at home.  By March 4, 2006, many had finished their tops.

If you visit the Big Horn Quilts web site, you can view photos of the various tops with the quiltmakers.  Each used similar colors and designs, but all are decidedly different and unique.

Does anyone else have interesting quilting projects to share?
