Quilt Contest for Youngsters
A new category has been added to the OK Centennial Quilt Contest - “Best Group Project” for the children to do a scout, family or classroom project. This looks like an enjoyable project for children and adults alike.
Judy Howard of Buckboard Antique Quilts says, “Hope every quilter will encourage their children and grandchildren to create a 22 x 22-inch quilt and get a chance of having their quilt and story published in a book and tour the state for 1 1/2 years.”
You don’t have to be an Oklahoma resident to enter. For more information visit www.buckboardquilts.com or e-mail buckboardquilts@cox.net.
