Quilting and Patchwork

Christmas Cards from Quilters

by Mary Emma Allen on December 23rd, 2005

My daughter has been receiving lovely, innovative Christmas cards from quilting friends. Some of these take the form of fabric postcards, utilizing collage and quilting techniques.

Another was a Christmas card, mailed in an envelope, which combined scrapbooking and fabric art. Some of the creative ideas these quilters use are very interesting and attractive.

You may want to keep in mind, when you have occasions to send cards and notes, to make your own by using fabric and collage techniques. These have become very popular.
