Quilting and Patchwork

Show & Tell Quilts

by Mary Emma Allen on December 20th, 2005

In Kaye Wood’s Newsletter, that I receive via e-mail, there was a notice about Show & Tell quilts. I visited the web site, www.kayewood.com/show_n_tell.html , to learn more about the project, view some of the quilts, and read the stories behind them.

The latest quilt, made by Hilda L., also appears in the online newsletter. It was made in memory of Hilda’s mother. The quilter incorporates feed bag fabric into it.

Here, quilters can share their quilts. Send a non-returnable photo with a description of 50 words or less telling the story behind the quilt. Why did you make it? What inspired you? Did you make it for a special event or a special person?

Check out Kaye’s web site to learn more details and where to send this information.

(If you have questions about quilts and quiltmaking, e-mail me: me.allen@juno.com. Type the words “quilt blog” in the subject line.)
