I enjoyed reading about why we quilt! I am an artist and an elementary school art teacher. I am writing a lesson on pattern quilts that the students will create with paper. In doing research about quilts I came across your website and it gave me some great information to use in my discussion with the students about quilting, culture, etc.
Thanks!
