Welcome to my blog in its new home at b5media.com. This is an exciting step in my blogging world.  I hope my readers will follow me here and that new readers will find me.

As I bring you updates and ponderings about the quilting world, I hope you’ll share your thoughts and experiences with me.  I come from several generations of quilters and did my first quiltmaking beside my grandmother at age eight.  It’s exciting to see my daughter and granddaughter continue this family tradition of the Trails End Quilters …so named because that’s where the first quilters lived (Trails End Farm) and engaged in this art.

I am the author of “The Magic Of Patchwork,” and operate the quiltmaking business, MEA’s Quilts, from my home. I also was the author of the column “The Business of Patchwork,” for “Quilt World Omnibook,” for eight years and “Work Patch,” for “Traditional Quilter,” for two years. In addition to quilting and writing about quiltmaking, Mary is a children’s author and journalist.”
